Slick

Fleet maintenance was broken. We built the company to fix it.

Slick combines a trained W-2 workforce, custom mobile infrastructure, and real-time technology to manage fleet appearance at scale — across 100+ cities and counting.

Built for where fleet maintenance is going

For decades, fleet maintenance has been stuck in the past — fragmented vendors, inconsistent quality, and zero visibility into what's actually happening in the field. Fleet managers were left juggling spreadsheets and phone calls, hoping the work got done right.

Joe Manzari, Founder & CEO of SlickJoe ManzariFounder & CEO

Joe Manzari founded Slick in 2016 in Baltimore with a simple thesis: fleet appearance management needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. Not patched together with subcontractors. Not run on handshake deals. Built as a real company with real infrastructure.

Paul Gillmore, President of SlickPaul GillmorePresident

Paul Gillmore joined as President to build the team and operational framework that would let Slick scale without sacrificing quality. Together, they set out to prove that fleet maintenance could be professional, measurable, and reliable — if you were willing to own every piece of the system.

Today, Slick operates 11 HUBs across 23 states — not by outsourcing the work, but by building every piece of the system in-house.

W-2 technicians. Not contractors. Not gig workers.

Every technician on a Slick crew is a W-2 employee — trained, equipped, and accountable. We don't outsource the work that defines our business.

Our technicians go through Slick University, a 24-month training program that covers vehicle care techniques, safety protocols, customer interaction, and the technology platform they use every day. When they arrive on-site, they know exactly what to do and how to document it.

Behind every crew is a dedicated Business Admin team — your single point of contact who knows your fleet, your schedule, and your standards. No call centers. No ticket queues. From the techs in the vans to the engineers building TruView, everyone at Slick works toward the same thing: vehicles that look right, run right, and stay on the road.

11 HUBs today. And we’re not slowing down.

Slick now operates across 23 states, serving 100+ cities with more than 100+ technicians maintaining over 20,000+ vehicles annually. Each HUB is a fully staffed regional base with its own fleet of custom-built service vans, a local management team, and direct accountability for every vehicle on its roster.

We're expanding — adding new HUBs, deepening coverage in existing markets, and investing in the technology that ties it all together. Growth at Slick doesn't mean franchising or subcontracting. It means building more infrastructure, hiring more people, and delivering the same standard of service everywhere we go.
